Vyri Kaelali
Name: Vyri Kaelali
Age: 80
Personality: Reserved but not snotty, first impression is a stuck up b*tch. But in truth she’s just frustrated that she can't learn the art of weapons, just because she had the ill luck to be born into royalty. She finds woman pastimes to be dull and boring. She especially hates embroidering, though the idle gossip the women tend to share at least keeps her abreast of the things going on in the world. When she if free to be herself, which had gotten increasingly rare as she’s grown older, she is full of laughter and mischief, intelligent and articulate. Her particular pet peeve is one who is whinny and unwilling to help themselves out of a situation, which court women seem to be very good at.
Bio: Vyri was the last child born, out of eleven children, to her parents, King Shorys Kaelali and Queen Kaeli Kaelali. She grew up with the constant warring between the Orcs and the Elves. A typical tomboy, she hung with her brothers as often as she could once she was granted freedom from the nursery. The older boys indulged they’re youngest baby sister and found it cute as she tried to learn how to use various weapons and clean armor and what not. When she was about 11, her parents found out and banned her from the stables and practice arenas and confined her to the Castle grounds and started teaching her how to be a lady. She did not take well to the forced learning or confinement.
Recently, the war between the two peoples has come to an end, and she has been offered up as part of the peace to the king of the Orcs. She’s of two very conflicting minds about this arrangement. Two of her brothers, Eir and Taedas, were caught in a battle and horribly tortured and killed. Their bodies were found and the only thing that identified either was the signet rings they’d worn. So she hates Orcs, for those were her two favorites of all her brothers. Yet, it is a form of freedom, maybe. Away from the Castle, the prying eyes of those who watch over her for her parents. Not to mention an adventure in and of itself. She will have to wait and see what this ‘King’ is all about.
