Tiama Lantto
Name: Tiama Lantto
Age: 27
Nationality: Swedish (thus the last name) and Dine (Navajo, and thus the first name)
Appearance: see pic. Generally. In colder climates she is bundles in a white leather cloak lined on the inside with white fox fur, equipped with hood, and all the way to her feet. Also has one of those hand warmer muff things, also in white leather and lined in white fox fur.
Trade: Witch by preference, trying to become a fiction writer to pay the bills.
Misc: Born of a Navajo Medicine Woman and a Scandinavian father, Tiama had a hard growing up. Being a half-breed, she was teased regularly and cruelly on the Reservation. She also grew up speaking both Dine and Swedish, as well as English. She finally found some escape for part of the days when she had to go to the American schools.
Eventually she found Paganism based on her mother’s beliefs and the old stories her father used to tell her when she was little. Thus far it has made a difference in her life and outlook on things. And she is finding, that the Old Ways are more solid then what is currently accepted as religion now.
Recently her parents have died in a car accident. After their burial, and with nothing to truly hold her to the Rez anymore, she has quit her job as tour guide, and left for Sweden. It is a two fold purpose for her destination. One, to tell her father’s baby sister, and last living relative that he is gone. Two, to immerse herself in her father’s people’s rich history and legends and myths. Between that and her mother’s people’s same, perhaps she can get inspiration to become the writer she always wanted to be.
