Pandrylastaes Aerdylia
Name: Pandrylastaes Aerdylia
Age: 80
Personality: Aerdylia is calm and collected, but that doesn’t keep her from becoming feisty and out-spoken if the occasion demands, or she gets riled up. She feels a deep connection to her forest home, and the creatures within it, especially the small intelligent dragons that share the Forest with her people. She also has a warped sense of humor, but it must be coaxed out of her.
Bio: Aerdylia is the fifth born of seven kids that belong to the Ruler of the Elves of the Green. She was taught swordsmanship and archery at a young age, and while she is very competent in both, she doesn’t really care for either. She only keeps in practice now, because it may save her life one day.
She has always heard voices in her head since she became aware of herself. It wasn’t until she was about 20 when she followed the distress call of a Voice. The search lead to old ruins and a young dragon caught deep within. She helped free it and they have been friends and near constant companions ever since. Unable to pronounce the Dragon’s name in its language, she calls him Tyrdar, which means Cobalt in the language of the Elves of the Green.
At 30, a guerilla warfare started up with the Orcs. And while she understands why the battles rage as they do, she feels it is pointless and meaningless. She is one of the few to have actually taken the time to get to know one of several Orc prisoners. They are just ignorant and in need of education. Not understanding that the Forest needs to be carefully culled and not randomly cut down for whatever reasons the Orcs need wood for. Unfortunately, no one listens to her, or the few others who think as she does.
Currently, between trying to teach the Orc she had taken an interest in in the ways of the Forest and learning his language, she must do her duty and rotate with others as border guards, stopping the Orcs as best they can from attacking the Forest more. And while she is pleased that her language skills has allowed her to understand their foe better and thus have an advantage, she is disgusted that she must turn the trust of a friend to such uses.
