Makoda Greenfeather
Name: Makoda GreenFeather
Age: 23
Race: Human Witch
Powers: Soul Fire, True Sight, Rapport with Nature, Healing Light (all explained under Other)
Personality: Makoda is quiet and watchful. She has the Native American way of keeping her face expressionless around strangers, her thoughts and feelings undetectable. She will appear aloof and distant at first meeting. Once she determines to her satisfaction, you are a friend, she opens up and can be quite expressive like the Gypsies. She isn’t easily ruffled though like most Gypsies, instead, her temperament is curbed by a stoicism the Native American’s are renown to have. Her philosophy is: Everything happens for a reason. You might not see that reason for days or years down the road, but there IS a reason for what happens all the same.
Sexuality: Situational
Position: Wanderer
Bio: Makoda was born to a Native American Father and a Gypsy Mother. From her father, she got her name and her Belief System (and something else, unknown to her), from her mother; she gained the knowledge of the Craft. Her childhood, while stringent in her learning, was actually a good one. She has turned out to be an extremely powerful Witch at such a young age.
Her mother was a Light, or Good, Witch, and taught her all she could about that Path. Meanwhile, unknown to her Mother, her Father was teaching her things about the Dark, or Evil, Path. Makoda walks both Paths with an ease that would scare her Mother, if she’d ever known about it. And Makoda, if asked, will call herself a Grey Witch, what other Witches term a Green or Neutral Witch.
Six months ago, Makoda’s Mother died and her Father disappeared, leaving some to believe he’d killed her. Makoda knows better. Her Father wasn’t actually evil, more like Old Man Coyote, the Trickster God of the Native Americans. That, and the fact that she grew up watching just how devoted and in love her Father was with her Mother, is all the proof she needs to know he wasn’t her killer. Now she wanders for a variety of reasons, the main one to find either her Father, or her Mother’s killer. Either would suit her just fine.

Powers Explained
*Soul Fire – A sickly green and black glowing fire that starts out as a ball in her hand, when she uses it against a foe, it stretches out much like a whip, staying connected to her hand. It only manifests in her left hand. The Fire DOES NOT mark the body, instead it marks the soul, and if she chooses to engulf a person with it, she can snuff their soul out. No chance of rebirth or an afterlife, whichever the person believes happens to their soul when they die. In essence she completely obliterates and destroys their very existence. There is no heat coming off this fire.
*If someone has True or Mage Sight and look closely at Makoda, they will see on her left arm what looks to be a scar of sorts. It wraps around the palm of her hand then at the thumb comes across the back of her hand to wrap up her arm several times, disappearing under her armpit from the back. What they are seeing is the mark of Soul Fire upon her soul. Also they will notice that some form of tendrils come from the “scar” and permeate her whole arm like a living thing attached to her.
True Sight – This ability allows her to see a person’s soul and what they really look like. It also gives her the ability to see what shades of Good/Neutral/Evil they are.
Rapport with Nature – With this ability, Makoda is never lost, hungry, or thirsty. She also never needs to worry about where to stay when she needs to rest. She has a way of speaking with plants and animals to give her the information she needs out in the Wilds. She is less likely to be attacked by predators, and if the need arises, she can ask for protective help from the creatures/plants of Nature.
*Healing Light – A ball of pure white light that appears in her hand. It only appears in her right hand. With this light, she can heal the worst hurts of a person. When she touches a person with this light, they are instantly calmed, feel no pain, and feel a warm peace enter them.
*Like the Soul Fire, someone with True or Mage Sight will see on her right arm a pure white light softly glowing and encompassing her arm from fingertips to shoulder.
Familiar – sort of
She has a Coyote companion she calls Trickster. She found him shortly after her Mother’s death and he has traveled with her since, showing no signs of leaving anytime soon. He looks to be young, like he’s just entered adulthood, and has a playful personality for the most part, which is how he got the name she gave him. But he is extremely protective of Makoda, almost to the point of possessiveness, which perplexes and sometimes confuses her. After all, it’s an odd behavior for a wild Coyote.
